Accession 89-122-AO Medal, Commemorative Louisiana Purchase World's Fair Exposition, 2,75"H x 2.87" W Bronze

Commemorative medal issued in 1904 for the St Louis Louisiana Purchase World's Fair Exposition. Reverse has an eagle and two dolphins. The dolphins represent the two coastlines of the country, Atlantic and Pacific. The medal was designed by Adolph A. Weinman and struck at the US Mint in Philadelphia.
