עברית: קיבוץ גבעת חיים מאוחד

Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_89561_20220829_122930-01.jpeg Notes: קיבוץ גבעת-חיים מאוחד, מהקיבוצים הגדולים והוותיקים בישראל, נוסד ב-14 ביולי 1932. נקרא על שם חיים ארלוזורוב, מראשי תנועת העבודה. נרצח ב 1933. 4 חברים הגיעו בעגלה רתומה לחמור לראש גבעה שוממה בוואדי חווארית (עמק חפר) בנו צריף וחפרו באר. למקום הצטרפו שאר חברי הקבוצה עם הילדים שהמתינו בחיפה. הישוב צמח והתפתח. ב1941 חובר הישוב לרשת החשמל והוקם בית-החרושת גת (פריגת). בימי המנדט היה הקיבוץ פעיל בפעילויות ההגנה, וארח הכשרות של הפלמ"ח. ב-1952 עזבה קבוצת חברים את הישוב הקיים והקימה את גבעת-חיים איחוד.
