Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_89975_20220908_121310.jpg Notes: רצח יוסף חיים ברנר וחבריו התרחש ב"בית יצקר" ביפו ב-2 במאי 1921, ביומם השני של מאורעות תרפ"א. בית יצקר היה בית באר שהוקם במאה ה-19 בין פרדסים בקרבת אבו כביר. הבית קרוי "בית יצקר" על שם דייריו, בני משפחת יצקר, שקנו אותו בשנת 1918 לאחר עלית אב המשפחה לארץ ישראל והפעילו בו מחלבה. הבית היה צבוע באדום וכונה על ידי היהודים "הבית האדום" ועל ידי הערבים "קצר אל אחמר". הקומה הראשונה שמשה לצורכי עבודה, ובה שוכנו הפרות לצד התבואה, ומחבצת החמאה. בקומה העליונה היו מספר חדרי מגורים ואולם כניסה מרווח.(ויקיפדיה)
