Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_90446_20220923_101426.jpg Notes: בית הַלֵּוִי הוא מושב עובדים בעמק חפר הממוקם מצידו המזרחי של כביש 4, סמוך למרכז האקדמי רופין. המושב הוקם על ידי עולים מארצות הבלקן, בעיקר מבולגריה ומיוגוסלביה, בשנת 1945 כמושב שיתופי ונקרא על שמו של המשורר רבי יהודה הלוי. היה היישוב הראשון באזור ואדי קובני. האדמות נקנו מהערבים בתחילת שנות הארבעים. ענפי החקלאות העיקרים הם פרדסים, מטעי פירות חממות פרחים וגם תרנגולי הודו ופרות. רבי יהודה בן שמואל הלוי (1075 – 1141) משורר ופילוסוף מספרד, מגדולי הכותבים היהודים בימי הביניים.
