Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_91267_20221019_110438-01.jpeg Notes: מיזם שומרי החומות הוא חלק מתוכנית לעידוד התיירות לאזור העיר העתיקה בירושלים. חומת ירושלים, אתר מורשת עולמית של אונסק"ו, נבנתה במאה ה-16 בהוראת הסולטן העות'מני סולימאן ומסמלת את מסירות שומרי העיר, בני כל האמונות, שהגיעו מארצות שונות והגנו עליה לאורך כל הדורות. הטיילת מובילה את הזמן לאחור ומחזירה את השומרים אל החומות! על החומה מוצבים פסלי שומרים , בגודל טבעי המברכים את עולי הרגל והמבקרים בירושלים. הפסלים מלווים בשלטי הסבר של המראות הנשקפים ממסלול החומה, המקיפה את העיר העתיקה.
