תיאור: הבאר הראשונה של מזכרת בתיה מסוג אנטיליה (ביוונית - שאיבת מים)
הערות: הבאר הראשונה במושבת הברון מזכרת בתיה נחפרה בשנת 1885. עומקה היה 30 מטר. הבאר פעלה בשיטת האנטיליה. בשיטה זו בעל חיים מסובב גלגל אופקי בתנועה מעגלית, ותנועה זו מותמרת לתנועה סיבובית אנכית. בתנועה האנכית יורדים בשרשרת כלי קיבול אל תחתית הבאר ועולים כלפי מעלה כאשר הם מלאים מים. בשיא הגובה מתהפכים כלי הקיבול בזה אחר זה ופורקים את המים אל תעלה, וממנה מוזרמים המים את בריכה גדולה.
