Notes
  • Significance: This magazine structure (Building No. A-210), built in 1942, is considered significant for its association with United States (U.S.) Naval history and the Mare Island Naval Shipyard (MINSY), the first Naval installation on the West Coast of the U.S. This warehouse is a contributing element of the successful base operations at MINSY. It is a representative example of magazine design, construction methods and materials used at MINSY during the World War II era, and it is one of at least seven identical magazines built at this base in the same year.
  • Survey number: HABS CA-1543-CQ
  • Building/structure dates: 1942 Initial Construction
