Description	A U.S. Navy Douglas A-4C Skyhawk aircraft (BuNo 149590) from Attack Squadron VA-34 Blue Blasters after having landed on the aircraft carrier USS Intrepid (CVS-11). VA-34 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 10 (CVW-10) aboard the Intrepid for a deployment to Vietnam from 11 May to 30 December 1967. The A-4C 149590 was shot down by a SA-2 missile over North Vietnam on 18 September 1967. The pilot, Lt.Cdr. S.A. Hawkins, ejected and was rescued.
