Description
English: U.S. Navy flight deck crewmen ready a Grumman A-6A Intruder (BuNo 155699) of Attack Squadron VA-165 "Boomers" for launching from the aircraft carrier USS Constellation (CVA-64), during Vietnam War operations in the South China Sea, 25 April 1972. VA-165 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 9 (CVW-9) aboard the Constellation for a deployment to Vietnam from 1 October 1971 to 1 July 1972.
