Description
English: Two U.S. Naval Reserve LTV A-7A Corsair II aircraft (BuNo2 152676, 153249) of attack squadron VA-304 Firebirds, Reserve Carrier Air Wing 30 (CVWR-30), ready for launching from the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CVA-61), sometime between 1971 and 1977, when VA-304 converted to the A-7B. The A-7A 153249 was later converted to a two-seat TA-7P and sold to Portugual as "FAP 5548". It crashed near Rosas, Portugal, on 13 May 1994, killing both crewmembers.
