Description
English: Supplementary Movie 1 Three-dimensional reconstruction of E. huxleyi cells from a tomogram obtained

by X-ray cryotomography. Tour through the tomographic volume of four vitrified cells, followed by 3D segmentation of the chloroplast (dark green), nucleus (violet), a coccolith in statu nascendi (blue) and the Ca-rich body (red). The coccolith in statu nascendi is closely associated

with the nucleus.
