| Description | A U.S. Navy Douglas AD-4N Skyraider of Composite Squadron 35 (VC-35) Det. I "Night Hecklers" in flight off Korea, circa in 1952. VC-35 Det. I was assigned to Air Task Group 2 (ATG-2) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Essex (CVA-9) for a deployment to the Western Pacific and Korea from 16 June 1952 to 6 February 1953. During this cruise, VC-35 Det. I made 352 sorties from the Essex and accumulated 1,052.7 flight hours. |
