Deze kaart werd in 1638 door Joan (1598-1673) en Cornelis Blaeu (1610-1642) gepubliceerd. De kaart toont een deel van het huidige India. In de 17de eeuw was behalve de kustlijn, over dit enorme land nauwelijks iets bekend.

Linksonder een opdracht van Joan en Cornelis Blaeu aan Johan Huydekoper.

This map was published in 1638 by Joan (1598-1673) and Cornelis Blaeu (1610-1642). The map shows a part of what is today India. In the 17th century little was known of this enormous continent except for the coast.

Bottom left a commission from Joan and Cornelis Blaeu to Johan Huydekoper.
