A very late Bedford VAL70, one of three bought by W.J.McIntyre of Roydon in 1972. (another from the same order is behind, possibly MRO200L, which was probably the last VAL ever to be bodied. ANO395L -"Miss Catherine" -was delivering morning customers to the Duke of Wellington at Hatfield Peverel, in August 1976, en route to the East Anglian coast. It was later modified... www.flickr.com/photos/24286563@N07/2354902716/ A list of Bedford VAL survivors is here including the one behind, almost certainly MRO200L, rather than LUR600L which was named Miss Bernadette.
