Description
Español: El Ministerio de Defensa informa que el aviso ARA Estrecho de San Carlos llevó a cabo el recambio de personal y material en los Puestos de Vigilancia y Control del Tráfico Marítimo (PVyCTM) y brindó apoyo a los navegantes franceses André Bronner y Claire Montenay en el traslado de los elementos destinados al mantenimiento del Faro de San Juan de Salvamento, conocido como faro del Fin del Mundo.

En la Bahía San Juan de Salvamento, la dotación del buque descargó todos los materiales para concretar el mantenimiento del histórico faro.

Gran parte de la dotación y de la plana mayor de la unidad participó en el desembarco de los tablones de madera, en un principio hacia la playa y luego hacia el faro, acompañada por los ciudadanos franceses a cargo de las tareas.
