Description
English: Oblique view of southern Mare Tranquillitatis, on the moon. Wallach crater is near the horizon at right. Part of lunar module visible at right. The small crater Maskelyne J is at center, and a portion of the mare at left is Maskelyne D. The lighter highlands in front of Maskelyne D are informally known (by the Apollo astronauts) as Barbara Mesa, and a group of ridges at left are known as Bob's Bend.
