西の郊外丘陵地に、自然の営みと人の暮らしがほどよく調和した里山づくりが進んでいます。 里山が大好きな有志が、笹竹と蔓がからまった雑木のジャングルを3年かけて整備を進め、街の子ども達が 落ち葉を踏んで遊び、学べる場にしてきました。キノコ栽培も手がけ、本格的な炭窯まで作ってしまいました。 地域の雑木林の手入れ、炭づくり、暮らしの中での炭の活用まで考えています。 炭作りは、原木伐採・火入れ・火の番・炭出しなど、子どもからシニアの人まで、多くの人達の楽しみの場になります。 |
