Deutsch: Am 14. Jänner 1902 verlieh das k.k. Ministerium des Innern der Gemeinde das Recht zur Führung des althergebrachten Lustenauer Wappens, welches eine Modifizierung des reichshöfischen Siegels darstellt. Der im Zentrum stehende Löwe dürfte ursprünglich aus dem Wappen des Hofammanns Magnus Hagen stammen, das diesem 1599 verliehen worden war. Auch die Krone, die der Löwe trägt, weist in die reichshöfische Zeit zurück. Die drei Ähren im Schild erinnern an die einstige Bedeutung des Getreideanbaus in Lustenau. |
