Description
English: A Hawker AV-8A Harrier (BuNo 158384) of U.S. Marine Corps attack squadron VMA-513 Flying Nightmares, ca. 1970. The AV-8A 158384 was one of the original batch of Hawker Harrier Mk 50 purchased for the USMC. It was later converted to the YAV-8C and crashed on 5 September 1980 because of loss of power on takeoff from the USS Tarawa (LHA-1).
