Summary
editDescriptionA 'Silkin Way' signpost - geograph.org.uk - 1182978.jpg |
English: A 'Silkin Way' signpost The Silkin Way is a 13 mile long through-route from north to south Telford (or vice-versa), designated in honour of John (later Lord) Silkin, Minister for The New Towns in the 1970s. A number of route markers are still to be found along its length, although parts of the original route have become a little vague now.
The Telford Plaza office buildings are visible in the background. |
