Description

I think we sighted two of these birds simultaneously - but my partner is unsure. This was the first one we sighted. And it just killed a very young Monitor Lizard. An accidental sighting when we stopped after seeing a Woolly Necked Stork and wondered where is the water body nearby. And this Hawk Eagle was on the ground with a fresh kill. It disappeared over the hill and seconds later another one appeared without a kill. Did it drop the kill? Or is it another bird - I reckon it was another bird since there was no other raptor, so dropping was unlikely. But I could be wrong.

Thanks in advance for your views / comments. Much appreciated.
