Summary edit

Description

The backs of the gods pulling on the naga (the great cosmic snake) in the 'churning of the ocean of milk', a well known Hindu myth. These statues of the gods are on one side of the stone "gangway" leading to the south entrance of Angkor Thom, while the devils (pulling on the other end of the naga) toil at the opposite side of the gangway.
