Summary edit

Description
English: "Martha has been making a simple shirt waist suit for cool days. Red is never pretty on a hot sunny day. This gown is fawn colored satin foulard with a tiny red figure and the plaits and folds of the bodice and skirt are covered with red satin. The buttons are covered with red satin and the belt and tie of red carry out the color scheme in detail. The suit would be prettier for warm days if it had a white figure and were made up with white satin."
