  • Description: Taken in April 1969, this photo shows 3747 (BND 747C) a 1965 Leyland Atlantean with Metro-Cammell 76-seater bodywork in Portland Street on route 82 between Waterhead and Chorlton via Oldham and Manchester City Centre. This vehicle is operated by Manchester Corporation Transport and was taken over by Selnec Passenger Transport Executive on the 1st November 1969. The Manchester Metrolink system crosses Portland Street at this location and runs into Aytoun Street on the right of the photo.
