| Description |
English: A changing landscape. Looking north from the Mytchett to Pirbright road. Ten years ago from this spot I'd have had a picture of an open heathland valley. Since then the trees a few pines but mostly birch scrub have thrived and have largely blocked off the view. The woodland scene is attractive enough in its own right but heathland is a scarce and valuable natural habitat and needs to be conserved. |
