English: A crop of maize and sunflowers. In a field adjoining Wateringpit Lane - see > 1060428 for a more detailed view. This crop will remain on the field during the winter to provide food and shelter for gamebirds such as pheasants and partridges. Wateringpit Lane turns off Market Street > 615729 in easterly direction - its name is derived from several old watering pits which are located beside it > 1060324. After passing a level crossing > 1060283 it peters out into a track, connecting with Church Lane by St Mary's church > 615952 further to the east. |
