Summary edit

Description
English: A fallen beech in Knighton Wood. Knighton Wood was once the wooded garden of a local house. As a result, it has various exotic trees and ponds (see 43549). Despite being surrounded now by the suburbs of Woodford Wells and Woodford Green, it has a few rarely visited areas. This mighty fallen beech (known to me as "the Serpent"), is hidden behind holly and brambles, no more than 130m from the nearest road and scarcely 30m from a well trodden path.
