Photograph of a huge log raft (built on the "floor plan") floating in a channel near Portland, Oregon, ca.1920. The paddlewheel tugboat towing the raft is visible in the distance passing near a drawbridge. Several other boats, including a sailing ship is at left, are also present. Smokestacks belch clouds from the shore where some commercial buildings are visible. Other parts of the shore are thickly forested.
