vvft, a priest,Takureheb (5. ilTJ^ who makes adorationsto the gods in theboat of Ra, and tothe gods in the Under-world. The stele isbeautifully painted in>right colours on awhite ground, andstands upon two sup-ports in the form of the mythological steps ^/J; it is sur-mounted by a human-headed hawk, emblematic of the soulof the deceased, with a gilded face. This is one of the finest examples of the painted woodenfuneral stelae in the collection. XXI Ind dynasty. (No. 8468.) No. 8468 SEPULCHRAL STEL.K. 85 No. 139.
