At the Virgins feet an inscription runs as follows : piuoei, vditel altra parte .... On the book in the hand of the Saviour are the words: QVI SEQVITVP. ME NON AMBVLAT IN TENEBRIS SED HABEBIT LVMEN VITE. A SCroll in the hand of one of the angels contains: consilia co vetu e senza vicio come feceA ROMA EL DO FABRicio. The scroU held by the other angel has the following:PARLA poco, GDI ASSAi, GVARDA AL FIN Di CIO CHE (fai). In the Same localityare figures of classic heroes and apostles with inscriptions beneath stating whocaused each of them to be executed and the time of execution, which is generallythe first half of the fifteenth century. 2 On the capital of one of the arches inside the chapel is the following inscription: TADDEVS BARTOLI DE SBNIS PINXIT ISTAM CAPELLAM MCCCCVII CVM FIGVRA SANCTI XPHORi ET CVM iSTis ALUS FiGVRis 1414.
