Description
English: Fleuron from book:
A specimen; consisting of extracts and episodes from a poem call'd Gideon; or, the restoration of Israel. Printed, and given gratis, that a judgment may be form'd of the twelve books in general; which are once every month publish'd separately in Folio, (but may at last be bound together in one handsome Volume) adorn'd with fine Copper Cuts, and entertaining Reflections distinct to each Book, after the Manner of Essays, on Subjects Historical, Critical, Geographical, Political, Military, &c. Book I. is now publish'd. Book II. just ready for Publication; and the rest will continue to come out Monthly, and may be had at most booksellers in London and Westminster.
