It is a vicarage,in the patronage of the bishop of Oxford.. ■Cui.LEN, a royal borough in the shire ofBanff, Scotland, 13 miles from Banff;containing iti2 houses and 1076 inhabitants,of whom 481 were returned as being em-ployed in manufaitures, principally of linenand damask, established by the tail of Fin-later, who is the hereditary provost of thetown, and has umler him three baillies, atreasurer, a dean of the g-iiill, and 13 coun-sellors. The houses are ill built, and thestreets irregular and dity. Here is Cu//enhou>e, founded on a rock, 30 fathoms in per-pendicular height above the burn of Bulleii ;over which is a stone bridge of one arch, (i4feet uide and 61 feet high. On Castle hdlare the ruins of an ancient castle. .Althoughthis burgh stands on the sea-coast, it has noharbour.
