English: A wet Sunday near Waen Penisarwaen With severe weather warnings in force for Saturday, Sunday and Monday for all of North and Mid-Wales, this is the fifth consecutive rain day in the region. As much as 70mm of rain is forecast for Snowdonia today. Meanwhile, last night (19-20th) was the warmest January night in London since records began. Tomorrow, heavy snow is forecast for Northern Ireland, Northern England and Southern Scotland. The British climate can never be accused of lacking variety. In this photo low cloud shrouds the Dinas Dinorwig Iron Age hillfort. |
