| Description |
This was shot last month on a trip to the Australiana Pioneer Village at Wilberfoce, arranged by my photo club. The village is located on twenty-seven acres of farm land on the Hawkesbury river and has the oldest timber dwelling in Australia in its grounds. I am trying to stay away from seascapes at the moment (as you may have noticed from my photostream), I need to start really pushing myself and get out of my comfort zone. I will admit that when we arrived at Wilberforce for the first five minutes I was scratching my head and wondering what the hell I was doing there and what was I going to take photos of...! Then I opened my eyes and started to really knuckle down to the task at hand. I am really making an effort with my composition and spending a lot more time arranging the elements of the photo in the frame intentionally. Also working a lot harder with my B&W processing to pull out more detail. A special thank you to Luke , you know why Mr Peterson, this image wouldn't exist if it wasn't for you!
