English: This is the Main Tent at the Mountain Conference Center (also called the Mountain Camp), one of the conference center facilities at the Abode of the Message, a spiritual intentional community in New Lebanon, NY, associated with the Sufi Order International. The sides are made of insect netting, and the tent roof is hung from the surrounding trees. Set on a permanent wooden deck in a mountain top forest, it provides a good compromise between outdoor meditation in nature, and protection from bugs and the weather. During the winter the outdoor event tent is taken down and the deck is covered with a huge blue tarp (apparent on satellite photos).
