English: Above the Gorm Lochs The lochan in the foreground is at an altitude of approximately 255m. It lies in peat less than 100m north of Fionn Loch Mor and some 5m above loch level. It is interesting in that there is no obvious inflow or outflow associated with it, filling as it does by seepage from the surrounding peat and draining in a
similar manner. The skyline hill is the Corbett, Beinn Leoid. |
