This interesting item waspresented to the Foundation byMichael Grubnick, West BearskinLake, Gun Flint Trail, Grand Marais,Minnesota who found it in a gift shopin Port Arthur, Ontario. So far, allefforts to discover the name of theCanadian sculptor have proved futile.Needless to state, this item of Lincolnsculpture has become a conversationpiece as Lincoln had a fine head ofhair without the slightest sign of abald spot. Gutta Percha Vase Gutta-percha is defined as a whitish-to-brown substance resembling rubberbut containing more resin and chang-ing less on vulcanization than the latexof several Malaysian trees of the sap-odilla family.
