DescriptionAccess path to Jordanston Halt - geograph.org.uk - 1002396.jpg |
English: Access path to Jordanston Halt The gate is probably the remaining clue to an uphill path, now overgrown, that led to Jordanston Halt by the railway overbridge. Marked as a 'halt' on the 1940s map, this halt was opened in October 1923 and was part of the old GWR line to Fishguard Harbour. Jordanston Halt was closed in 1964 but trains still run to Fishguard Harbour station twice a day. |
