Deutsch: Figurengruppe Schutzengel aus Kalksandstein (1910 oder früher) am Collegium Josephinum an der Josefshöhe in Bonn (Auerberg); die Skulptur stammt (nach Auskunft der Schule) aus der Zeit der Unterrichts- und Erziehungsanstalt St. Joseph auf der Höhe. Die Plinthe lässt die Signatur Acker erkennen (das Adressbuch Bonn von 1902 enthält den Eintrag: Gebr. Acker, Steinhauerei, Bornheimer Straße 11, Inhaber Math. Acker, Steinmetzmeister und Bildhauer; vielleicht stammt die Skulptur aus seiner Werkstatt). Die gegen Ende des Zweiten Weltkriegs beschädigte Figurengruppe wurde 1980 restauriert (sie ist durch sauren Regen gefährdet). Auf dem Sockel steht der Text (2. Mose 23, 20): „Siehe, ich sende meinen Engel, dass er vor dir herziehe und dich bewahre auf dem Wege und dich führe an den Ort, den ich bereitet“ |
