Description
Italiano: Acquedotto duecentesco

Lungo cinque chilometri, venne edificato nel XIII sec. per condurre l'acqua da monte Paciano alla fontana maggiore. I lavori presero avvio nel 1255 e, sotto la guida di Fra’ Bevignate e di Buoninsegna da Venezia, terminarono tra il 1276 ed il 1280. A causa dei continui problemi di manutenzione nel 1835 fu costruito un nuovo acquedotto.

L'ultimo tratto fu trasformato in un caratteristico percorso pedonale pensile sui grandi arconi medievali.
