Summary edit

Description
English: siRNA against PPL reduces adhesion to ECM in D562 cells. D562 cells were transfected with either control siRNA (Additional file 1) or PPL siRNA (Additional file 2). The cells were grown to confluence in glass-bottomed dishes and EDTA (2.5 mM final concentration) was added. Images were analyzed by time-lapse confocal laser scanning microscopy using a laser-scanning confocal microscope (LSM 510 META; Carl Zeiss Inc). Frames were taken every 5 min for 6 h.
