English: Aerial view of meadows north of Daws Heath woods The wood at the left centre is Pound Wood; the wood at the right centre is Tile Wood. St Michael's Road runs between the meadows and Tile Wood. The road across the bottom right is the A127 (Southend Arterial Road). Between the woods and the road are a series of meadows which were, in 1987, mainly used for grazing. Since then the various meadows have been sold off, and there are now several owners. The modern view can be seen using Google Maps http://maps.google.co.uk/ (satellite view) and searching for 51.571806,0.625423 The meadows next to Pound Wood nearest and St Michaels Road are managed as two private nature reserves, one with a small pond. Another field is owned by a lady to race husky dogs and uses it to train them there. Another is still used to graze and perhaps livery horses.
