Die DM-SGE mit der Werknummer 04-002 wurde am 29. Juli 1957 bei der Deutschen Lufthansa (Ost) in Dienst gestellt, am 23. Dezember 1961 an die NVA abgegeben und bei der Verbindungsfliegerstaffel 25 (VS-25) mit der taktischen Nummer 805 geflogen. Im September 1964 wurde sie außer Dienst gestellt und an das Verkehrmuseum Dresden abgegeben. Dort wurde sie mit dem fiktiven Kenner DM-VMD ausgestellt, erhielt aber letztendlich wieder ihre ursprüngliche Lufthansabemalung und das Kennzeichen.
