| Description | The indoor aviary is a comparativelynew addition to the Al Ain zoo, and has been built around the old penguins exhibit. The penguins themselves have been there for the past 23 odd years that we have been visiting. The enclosure does look a tad tired and shows signs of wear and surface deterioration as it is constantly in contact with water. Oh well. Here are penguin footprints on the sand close to the viewing glass.(Ain, UAE, Dec. 2012) |
