English: After the flood 2 These garden waste bins in the car park of the Community Hall, Bettws Cedewain, are not usually parked at such a jaunty angle. The wall of water which swept down Bechan Brook (which normally flows just beyond the grass) on the evening of 22 July 2007 floated them into their current position. Several cars parked in the car park at the time were also 'bobbing about', a resident told me. |
