English: Reconstruction of the spherical three-quarter alveolus. Sizes, shapes and cell numbers are summarized in the Table 1 and in the Model section of the main article. AEC of type I (yellow), AEC of type II (blue) and the pores of Kohn (black) are visible in the morphology of the three-quarter alveolus.
