English: Agnan, or Agnias, an illustration from the "Dictionnaire Infernal" by en:Jacques Collin de Plancy. According to Collin de Plancy, "Agnan or Agnias: Demon who torments the Americans by appearances and malice. He shows himself especially in Brazil and among the Topinamboux. It appears in all forms, so that those who want to see it can meet it everywhere."
