  • On Warner's ranch, near Warner Springs, southern California
  • He stands, at left holding strands of yarn which are threaded into a spinning-wheel type of wooden mechanism.
  • Three little girls stand and sit nearby. All four are outside in front of an adobe dwelling with a thatched roof. They are all barefoot.
