| Description |
[Ahmed Arif Literature Museum Library] The approximately 120-year-old mansion, dedicated to Ahmed Arif, one of Diyarbakır's famous poets, was put into service as the Ahmed Arif Literature Museum Library as of 2011. The museum, which is adjacent to the Cahit Sıtkı Tarancı House, is one of the most beautiful examples that preserves the features of Diyarbakır houses in the most original way. It was expropriated by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, restored and allocated in the name of Ahmed Arif. At the Ahmed Arif Literature Museum, poet Ahmed Arif's personal belongings, handwritten poems and photographs of many poets who grew up in the Southeast are exhibited.
