Deutsch: Die Ahming zeigt bei Schiffen den momentanen Tiefgang an. Beim Be- und Entladen der Mary Roos in Bingen kann man gut das Prinzip von Archimeds in Aktion beobachten: Die Zahlenwerte stehen für Zentimeter Tiefgang. Im Bildteil rechts sieht man, dass die Wasseroberfläche nicht mehr ganz glatt ist. Die Mary Roos hatte bereits die Maschinen zum Ablegen hochgefahren. Der angezeigt Tiefgang von rund 135 Zentimetern kann dadurch vielleicht etwas vom wahren Wert abweichen. |
